Silicon Valley Berryessa

This complex and challenging contract was awarded to Aldridge as part of a billion dollar P3 project. Aldridge, with a joint venture partner, was responsible for the systems installation on this 10-mile, heavy rail extension of BART into Santa Clara Valley.

Work scope included an automatic train control system, high-voltage substations, a 34.5kV high-voltage parallel feeder system, traction power substations, traction power gap breaker stations, and a complete fiber optic communications network.
