NICTD South Shore Line

Aldridge replaced the catenary system and installed traction power feeders along 26 miles of track on this four-track constant tension overhead contact system. New wood poles, steel poles and steel H structures were fabricated, finished and erected to support the new catenary system. Catenary cabling, hangers and support arms were replaced during continuous weekend outages.
