Project Summary
Aldridge, leading a Joint Venture, was awarded the systems contract on the extension of the Metro Green Line running through Minneapolis, St. Louis Park, Hopkins, Minnetonka and Eden Prairie.
The scope of work for the systems package on this 14.5 mile double track line includes: 20 traction power substations (TPSS), overhead catenary/contact system (OCS), 3 tunnel system houses (TSH), tunnel facilities systems (power and ventilation), communications systems (PA/VMS radio, telephone and emergency systems), security systems (CCTV, emergency call boxes, intrusion detection, and fire alarms), light rail transit and freight signaling systems, systems integration and pre-revenue testing support.
