After a COVID hiatus, our favorite Thanksgiving tradition made a triumphant return today! Deep-fried turkey is the star of this Thanksgiving meal that has been an Aldridge tradition since 1991. Fleet Services welcomed guests to our Libertyville headquarters to share a meal, enjoy live music, a silent auction benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and participate in a food drive.
The Aldridge family became active volunteers with the JDRF Illinois Chapter when Ken’s daughter, Laura Aldridge, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) as a child in 2004. Several years later, third-generation owner and CIO, Steve Aldridge, was diagnosed with T1D as an adult and their dedication to JDRF grew. In addition to feeding over 450+ friends and collecting canned goods for local food banks, the annual Aldridge Turkey Fry hosts the opportunity to support the JDRF.
Thank you to Fleet Services for keeping this tradition alive!
