Project Summary
Terminal 5 is a $1.2B project that will upgrade and improve services and amenities at the airport. The Chicago Department of Aviation chose a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) as the delivery method and selected three Joint Venture companies to act as CMARs through the completion in late 2021.
Aldridge secured six contracts through the CMAR companies including:

Runway 4R/22L Rehabilitation TP2 Electrical
Relocation of Taxiways A&B East/West Advance Work: Utility Investigations
Relocation of Taxiways A&B East/West Advance Work: Ductbank Systems A, B, C
Relocation of Taxiways A&B East/West Advance Work: Ductbank Systems D, E and into Ring Tunnel
Concourse M Extension BP4 TP12 Site Electrical
The major scopes of work are power ductbank systems, manholes and structures, communication ductbank, and innerduct. The contracts also include temporary power, utility manhole investigation/documentation, caisson installation, removal and replacement of in-pavement can lighting, and grounding.
