Aldridge is an industry leader known for innovative solutions. Director of Agile Operations, Chris Weir, is a key contributor to introducing, discussing, and encouraging employees to think outside the box, by sharing Aldridge custom-developed innovations.
A strong example, while working on the Runway 7R/25L rehabilitation project at Los Angeles' LAX airport, Aldridge was tasked to remove and replace 300+ in-pavement light bases in just a short two-week time period. In order to accomplish this feat so quickly, the innovations team alongside Aldridge Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) decided to build their own coring machine to make the process easier and more efficient. The team also leveraged the Quality department to collaborate with our in-house development team for the creation of a tracking application that helped integrate the testing and commission process.
