Grand Prairie Gateway

Spanning approximately 60 miles from Elgin to Byron, Aldridge drilled and installed 136 concrete foundations for the eastern leg of the new 345kV transmission line. Various water tables and unstable soil conditions provided logistical challenges for crews. Post-award work was added to the project scope, requiring demolition work and foundation installations under live transmission lines.
