Aldridge was contracted as the prime contractor for the City of Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) to improve and update the lighting infrastructure throughout the City. The scope of work included the installation of new lighting foundations, hand holes, conduit, cables, aluminum light poles, decorative light poles, LED street light luminaires, and constant feed power connections and controllers.

While working throughout the City of Chicago, unknown underground obstructions are often encountered and proper locate procedures are always utilized to help mitigate potential issues.  Aldridge leverages experienced crews to maneuver equipment necessary to install the light pole foundations and underground conduit on city streets.
