Project Summary
The Freight ITS Project is a key initiative to enhance transportation infrastructure at a major port facility. As part of this effort, a range of improvements were implemented using both above-ground and below-ground installations, as well as advanced, non-ground-disturbing technologies. The scope of work included installing underground fiber optic cables, conduits, and pull boxes connected to nearby vaults, as well as upgrading existing systems by replacing equipment on power poles and cabinets. Aldridge also took on the installation of Changeable Message Signs (CMS), including the construction of cast-in-drilled-hole pile foundations, to support the project's communication enhancements.
