Aldridge is dedicated to social responsibility. As part of our efforts, we frequently engage in programs that help to inspire the next generation of tradespeople. In Michigan, an Aldridge superintendent visited the Manistique and Escanaba Delta Schoolcraft Welding Program to donate tools as well as speak to several classes. The students learned about the opportunities that being in the trades can offer.
By using the Aldridge IIF (Incident and Injury Free) culture as an example, Jacob Goudreau emphasized the importance of looking out for each other. He spoke to the students about how to carry safety throughout their schooling and into their everyday lives. With IIF, we are not safe out of obligation, yet it is an intrinsic part of who we are. That message is spread wide and far, whenever there is an opportunity to spread the word.
The students were particularly interested in learning how to take their trade into the workplace. Goudreau assured them that the opportunities for growth within the trades are plentiful and companies like Aldridge are committed to helping nurture that growth. By continuing their education and entering the exciting world of trades, the sky is really the limit for this next generation of workers.
