Incident and Injury Free

Incident and Injury Free (IIF) is a commitment, both personal and organizational, to create an existence absent of incident and injury. It is a mindset intolerant of any level, frequency, or severity of incident or injury. In such an environment, safety is value-based. Doing something safely is recognized as an inseparable element of "doing it right," just as much as efficiency, quality, productivity, environmental and social responsibility, or any other criteria of excellence.

Aldridge has instituted dozens of activities to change our culture.  These include IIF orientations, annual safety training, safety champions program, the Good Catch program, IIF moments, sending the message home with monthly mailers, the Safety Week initiative, the 5 Safety Absolutes, and many other methods to reinforce the concept that safety is a 24/7 culture both on the job and off.

When IIF is present, people do not live and work safely out of motivation to be in compliance: they recognize that by risking incident and injury, they are putting everyone and everything they care for and value in jeopardy.

At home or at work, day or night, nobody gets hurt.
