Fleet
Aldridge owns and operates over 2,000 fleet assets ranging from high-security drop boxes to million-dollar drill rigs. The department of 60 personnel handles over 25,000 transaction requests annually. These transactions consist of work orders, equipment, and material move requests, repairs, and information requests.
To better serve the needs of the company, the fleet department has a network of shops and yards located in Libertyville, IL., Burr Ridge, IL., Darien, WI., and Bethlehem, PA. Additionally, there are 16 heavily equipped mobile mechanics.
Aldridge currently has a modern fleet of over 40 specialized drill rigs which are equipped to drill through a broad range of soil conditions, including rock and wet/non-cohesive soil. Our equipment is built to be versatile and has the ability to perform even in tight access conditions, on rugged terrain, and beneath energized lines in low head-room situations. A staff of full-time mechanics and welders help assure that our equipment is productive every day across the country.
The crown jewel of our fleet is our custom-designed training trailers. These trailers, along with a full-time training manager, travel the country training and qualifying union electricians to do complex vault and utility work in confined spaces.
