I-390 Tollway/Elgin- O'Hare Corridor

The Illinois Tollway began cashless tolling from Lake Street to I-390 on the Illinois Route 390 Tollway, implementing Illinois' first section of all-electronic tollway. Aldridge crews installed an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) including a Microwave Vehicle Detection System (MVDS), CCTV, Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), and a Roadway Weather Information System (RWIS). Roadway lighting and signage were also included within the work scope.
