4G Wireless Subway Upgrades

Aldridge's experience with track allocations, DAS knowledge, and familiarity with the existing systems resulted in winning the Prime Contractor role for this project. The 4G Next Generation Distributed Antenna System (NG-DAS) was developed, designed, and installed throughout the project owner's 22 miles of rapid transit subway tunnels. Crews also removed the legacy two-way radio system and deactivated/removed the First Generation Distributed Antenna System (FG-DAS) originally installed by Aldridge in 2005.
